Counselling and Psychotherapy
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer counselling support to adults and adolescents and I'm based close to the centre of Dorking.
I combine Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to build coping strategies, with talking therapy which gives you a deeper understanding of yourself and empowers you to live your life with confidence.
Counselling is a gentle therapy, but it can change lives. I am passionate about the power of counselling and the results it can achieve. My own personal experience of counselling was life-changing and life-affirming and since that time I have worked to offer others the same benefit.
Therapy sessions are confidential and offer a supportive, safe space for you to talk about your concerns freely and without fear of judgment.

Common issues brought to therapy include:
- Anxiety
- Depression / Low mood
- Bereavement
- Asperger's / Autism
- Relationships
- Low self esteem
- Sexual identity
- Transgender
- Anger issues
- Refusing school
- Stress
- Divorce
- Emotional abuse
- Sexual abuse

I have a special interest in Autism and related issues and have over ten years experience in this area. Autism doesn't only affect the individual, it can impact partners and family members. I work with individuals, couples and families.
In addition to my private practice I have also worked in schools for many years.
